The next two missions are at optional locations with any of your three armies. After that, send everyone to the northwest corner to take out the Forbidden Pool. After you've got them both, send the whole army to the west and level the enemy Camp. When it's fully defended with sentry towers, take the army to the orc Camp at the north end. Establish your first Camp as you usually do. It will still be pretty large, though, coming into this battle. Even if you had enough troops to go over the limit in mission 11, your army will be trimmed so you don't go over your maximum Command Points. This army will not be as large as you may think it is. Once all three Camps are yours, the mission is over.

Save up for a second and third tribute cart, and do the same thing for the other camps. Once it gets into the Camp, the Camp and its people will be yours. It may be fired upon, but it won't be taken down. (You can make it go a little quicker by building a second Camp on the northern edge of the map, a little east of your starting position.) Build the cart, then send it into an enemy Camp. Once your army is fleshed out, save up for the tribute cart.

The orcs are slightly unusual in that the two primary upgrades you deal with— the fire arrows and the banner carrier— are both on the orc pit. You'll have the money to fully outfit your Camp with sentry towers, slaughterhouses, and one orc pit. Keep going south to find another Settlement, this one for a Camp. Head south to find a small Settlement for a lumber camp. Take your army and execute the villagers nearby.
